4 Reasons Why Ask DoctorBase is the Most Efficient Way to SEO and Establish Your Brand Online

  1. Ask DoctorBase is a free service for patients on the DoctorBase platform - currently servicing over 6 million American patients of record.
  2. All answers submitted by healthcare professionals (you) are for entertainment purposes only and do not constitute doctor-patient relationships. All patients must agree to this before using Ask DoctorBase.
  3. Our software and our Marketing Engineering staff review each answer and optimize your answers for keywords valuable to your specialty. It is a well kept secret that doctors (you) - not SEO consultants - are the ones who have the most valuable content prized by search engines. Ask DoctorBase "unlocks and optimizes" your content in the most efficient manner possible with today's technology.
  4. Finally, the doctor who provides the most popular answer - "the Featured Answer," gets an added benefit by allowing patients to write rave reviews about your expertise - reviews that are submitted to both Google and Google Local through our Preferred Data Provider relationship.

Swollen lymph nodes usually mean an infection.. Go back to the dentist right away. If you are near Oxon Hill, Maryland come on in and I'll take a look. Call 301-567-9844 of my cell 301-367-8268. The consultation is complimentary so are any necessary x rays.

Diminishing pain after extraction is normal. Increasing pain and regional inflammation may indicate an infection. Please consult your dentist and find out what's happening as we are approaching the weekend and help will be more difficult to find. Good Luck

I am concerned. Pain, swelling, inflammation and headaches are not normal days later after a tooth extraction. Sores inside and outside your mouth sound like a viral infection due to your resistance being weakened. You need to be on an antibiotic and anti-inflammatory medication.

Not normal outcome for simple extraction.

Take your antibiotics and schedule visit and get this evaluated soon.

Could be a dry socket.

This does not sound normal. Could be trauma from procedure or a change of antibiotics.

I would be concerned and recommend you see your dentist or surgeon soon.

Your swollen lymph nodes the pain and swelling being worse the 3rd to 4th day is NOT normal healing. You might have a viral outbreak on top of an infection. Call your extracting dentist now, and try to be seen by someone ASAP. It may be that simple but this is when you should seek more advice or care personally, not via this.

It depends on how difficult the extraction was, and what was going on to begin with. To be safe, follow up with the Doctor. Many times, patients get shy about returning to the doctor with complications. That is what they are prepared for. It might be normal, just a hard recovery (its normal to swell for almost three days after an extraction), or could be an infection that requires some treatment.

Good luck
Sounds not good. You should be concern d.

Take your antibiotics and

See your surgeon soon.

Pain post extraction not uncommon but you have a lot of things going on.

Cold be dry socket.

Are you taking antibiotics? Your swelling is a concern and should be evaluated by your treating dentist. The sores and blisters are not common following an extraction and need evaluation too! Please see your dentist ASAP!
This is one for your dentist to SEE. Many of your symptoms can be a simple complication like a "Dry Socket", but the sores and blisters are of concern. This can be a viral infection but it needs to be evaluated.
