Many patients with spaces want to have spaces closed permanently.
Permant lingual retainers are a sure fire or deal breaker for me .
Relapse happens with mal occlusions.
Many loose or forget to wear removable retainers that smell bad after time .
I vote yes for permanent lingual bar or retainer.
