    "My experience with Dr. Peter Merai's office has been very comforting as I feel like I am in good hands with someone who is highly experienced and knows and suggest the different options of the best treatment and the cost is much better than the other dentist and uses a much advanced equipment. I don't feel pressured and the staff, I can see highly respects him as a very good dentist. I would highly recommend him to anyone that needs dental work"

Can getting cavities filled trigger previous TMJ symptoms and what's the best way to support TMJ and clenching from stress?

Yes, it's possible but only if premature contacts exist. That means the dentist should make sure your bite is exactly perfect before you leave. If you came in with no TMJ problems you should not leave with any.
A properly made soft nightguard will protect the teeth and TMJ.
