4 Reasons Why Ask DoctorBase is the Most Efficient Way to SEO and Establish Your Brand Online

  1. Ask DoctorBase is a free service for patients on the DoctorBase platform - currently servicing over 6 million American patients of record.
  2. All answers submitted by healthcare professionals (you) are for entertainment purposes only and do not constitute doctor-patient relationships. All patients must agree to this before using Ask DoctorBase.
  3. Our software and our Marketing Engineering staff review each answer and optimize your answers for keywords valuable to your specialty. It is a well kept secret that doctors (you) - not SEO consultants - are the ones who have the most valuable content prized by search engines. Ask DoctorBase "unlocks and optimizes" your content in the most efficient manner possible with today's technology.
  4. Finally, the doctor who provides the most popular answer - "the Featured Answer," gets an added benefit by allowing patients to write rave reviews about your expertise - reviews that are submitted to both Google and Google Local through our Preferred Data Provider relationship.

What do you think could be causing the pain. I have had a ultrasound done and could not find anything wrong.

Could still be some type of gallbladder problem even if it didn't show up on the scan.
Keep working with your doctor and pay attention to the things that make the pain better or worse. A negative ultrasound does not rule out the gallbladder as the source. Sometimes the gallbladder will not have stones but still not empty properly. If suspicion of gallbladder disease is still high, ask you doctor about a CCK-HIDA scan. This scan can tag bile with a radioisotope, stimulate the gallbladder to try to empty, and measure how well the gallbladder empties. It can pick up pathology missed by ultrasound.
There can be a number of things causing pain for that long. It could be stomach problems such as ulcers or gastritis, liver/gallbladder problems, osteoarthritis, lung pathology, singles that you could have. You may need to have a CT scan done to rule out major pathology.
See your healthcare practitioner and ask him/her to schedule a MRI.
