TB immunization proof

HI. I was born in Russia, and there I got immunization shots for TB in my arm. However, when I moved to the US, those records were not transferred over, and while my current job requires proof of a TB test, I cannot get one because it would prove positive for TB due to the immunization. Is there any thing I can do, or anyone I can see, who can confirm that immunization? I have scars on my arm to prove it. Thanks, Val

Hi there! I am from Russia myself and have the same problem :-). There is one simple solution to this problem. Have your PCP do a blood test called Gold quantiferone test, if negative that proves your negative TB status and no other work up is required or else you have to do yearly chest X-rays to rule out active TB.
