Tammy Henderson-Pollino"I was unhappy with the results I had received with Dr. Robie and needed a second opinion. Dr. Kovack was recommended to me. I made an appointment and had two consultation visits. He was extremely thorough and really seemed to listen to my issues during the initial visit. We discussed some options however no true decision could be made until I brought my x-rays, MRI and post surgical report from an arthoscopy that Dr. Robie had performed. After reviewing my patient information Dr. Kovack said he felt certain he could help me by doing a partial knee replacement. His office had me set for surgery only three weeks away. I was very excited about the possibility of being virtually pain free. I had suffered seven years with this pain and prior to consulting with Dr. Kovack I been told my only option was total knee replacement at age 65. My surgery went smoothly, only one day in the hospital. I was followed up on by Nick. He is very informative and pleasant. I had several questions and he answered everything thoroughly, even drawing a diagram on the white board to clearly explain everything. To my surprise Dr.Kovack went above and beyond stopping in to check on me even though it was his day off. He was also very thorough and attentive. I then had three weeks of home p/t. After my very first home visit the therapist could not believe the amount of mobility I already had. I progressed to out patient therapy and had wonderful results. It is literally eight weeks and two days since my surgery and I am moving around perfectly. I often forget I have had surgery and try to bend in a way my knee doesn't allow. I am totally and completely satisfied. Don't get me wrong I have days I over due things and suffer minor pain. Icing will alleviate this. I recommend Dr. Kovack to anyone having orthopedic issues. I find the Dr. And his intern very personable, attentive and I feel at ease. They make time for all my questions. I realize this is a bit of an issue because others are waiting. Therefore, if I had to wait to be seen I understand why. I am so thankful I was referred here. I feel grateful I have my life back. I used to hike and take photographs, I am ready to get back to it. Thank-you!

"I went to see Dr. Kovack for some help in managing my chronic Knee and Shoulder pain. As a former Professional Football Player I have had numerous issues with injuries and seen many specialists that treat Pro Athletes. I can say with complete honesty Dr. Kovack was the absolute best. He took the time to see me as a fellow athlete which he obviously is. We decided surgery wasn't appropriate at this time and decided on more of a conservative approach of injections and strengthing exercises as I am still quite young.
