  1. Ask DoctorBaseâ„¢ is a free service for patients on the DoctorBase platform - currently servicing over 6 million American patients of record.
  2. All answers submitted by healthcare professionals (you) are for entertainment purposes only and do not constitute doctor-patient relationships. All patients must agree to this before using Ask DoctorBaseâ„¢.
  3. Our software and our Marketing Engineering staff review each answer and optimize your answers for keywords valuable to your specialty. It is a well kept secret that doctors (you) - not SEO consultants - are the ones who have the most valuable content prized by search engines. Exactly what part of your "butt" are you referring to ? Is it on one cheek or both or right near the anus?

You can try OTC topical Benadryl crm or ointment. If it persist, then take a trip to your health provider.
Be more specific, location of itch, size of redness, explain how long is weeks, what happened when you first noticed it, any tenderness, fever, loss of activities. Have you tried any medication?

I'm referring to my crack

This is a common problem. There is likely irritation that may not be visible to the naked eye.Try an over the counter steroid cream as needed. Avoid excessive or vigorous cleaning or touching( which only stirs up more irritation). The less manipulation, the better.Try to stop this vicious cycle.Hope this helps.

Under your armpits, under your breasts, between your thighs and buttocks provide a dark, moist environment that is ideal for bacteria, mold, yeast and fungi to flourish. Keep these areas clean and dry: Bathe frequently and use an antibacterial soap (like Dial). Call the office at 203-262-6755 if you need further assistance.

You have a condition known as "swamp ass" it is horrific and requires that you bath regularly and maintain a dry crack at all times. a clean wipe helps as well.
