4 Reasons Why Ask DoctorBase is the Most Efficient Way to SEO and Establish Your Brand Online

  1. Ask DoctorBase is a free service for patients on the DoctorBase platform - currently servicing over 6 million American patients of record.
  2. All answers submitted by healthcare professionals (you) are for entertainment purposes only and do not constitute doctor-patient relationships. All patients must agree to this before using Ask DoctorBase.
  3. Our software and our Marketing Engineering staff review each answer and optimize your answers for keywords valuable to your specialty. It is a well kept secret that doctors (you) - not SEO consultants - are the ones who have the most valuable content prized by search engines. Ask DoctorBase "unlocks and optimizes" your content in the most efficient manner possible with today's technology.
  4. Finally, the doctor who provides the most popular answer - "the Featured Answer," gets an added benefit by allowing patients to write rave reviews about your expertise - reviews that are submitted to both Google and Google Local through our Preferred Data Provider relationship.

I'm sorry you're still feeling ill. Vertigo is a symptom, not a diagnosis. It is a feeling of movement when you are not moving. Many people refer to Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo (BPPV) as "Vertigo" these days. The symptoms are usually that when getting into bed or rolling over in bed, the room spins for 10 to 30 seconds. There are specific maneuvers done for this which can be helpful when done by someone who understands the problem well. A constant feeling of dizziness or movement might more likely be a viral inner ear infection. The ear looks normal for this problem, but you might have continuous nystagmus (uncontrollable eye movements). I would recommend you see an ENT or neurologist who sees a lot of dizzy patients, and treats BPPV. They will likely get a hearing test , and may want to get an electronystagmogram. Unless you've had a hearing loss in one ear a CT or MRI will not likely be necessary.
Sorry to hear that. If it is still persistent, See if you have ear infection, ear discharge, fever, etc (can be cause of peripheral vertigo); if so you may need to see doctor and be treated to make it go away; Depending on complete history, exam, especially about balance, eye movements, if nystagmus (jerking of eyes on looking to sides or up and down or turning head side to side or up-down) and other sensory motor exam, and may need an MRI of the brain or CT scan of head to find exact cause; may need blood tests; medication you should use only after it is correctly diagnosed; hope this helps you.
