4 Reasons Why Ask DoctorBase is the Most Efficient Way to SEO and Establish Your Brand Online

  1. Ask DoctorBase is a free service for patients on the DoctorBase platform - currently servicing over 6 million American patients of record.
  2. All answers submitted by healthcare professionals (you) are for entertainment purposes only and do not constitute doctor-patient relationships. All patients must agree to this before using Ask DoctorBase.
  3. Our software and our Marketing Engineering staff review each answer and optimize your answers for keywords valuable to your specialty. It is a well kept secret that doctors (you) - not SEO consultants - are the ones who have the most valuable content prized by search engines. Ask DoctorBase "unlocks and optimizes" your content in the most efficient manner possible with today's technology.
  4. Finally, the doctor who provides the most popular answer - "the Featured Answer," gets an added benefit by allowing patients to write rave reviews about your expertise - reviews that are submitted to both Google and Google Local through our Preferred Data Provider relationship.

Dorsal Vein Pain

I have some questions regarding the superficial dorsal vein. Mine seems to stick out quite far and appears to be causing me pain during intercourse as a result. I was circumcised as an infant and am curious about what is done during that process and how it works afterwards.

1. Is the superficial dorsal vein closed, attached to something else, or just left to heal by itself with no additional treatment?

2. Following the circumcision, does it still fill with blood or is it not functional?

You may have thrombosed another vein. If that is the case antiinflammatories can help. If it is mostly bother about look of the vein I wouldnt touch it not worth removing or fixing.

Thank you all for responding quickly and clearing up my confusion. The only reason I thought it might be associated with circumcision is because my superficial dorsal vein only appears to go halfway down the length of the penis and stops at the circumcision scar.

The dorsal vein is not touched during a circ, it is deeper than that. It fills with blood as before.

2. You may have thrombosis of the dorsal vein. If so it will correct itself in time, and just become small and fibrotic with no further problems. Nothing to be concerned about.
William Livingston
1. No association of dorsal vein with circumcision.
