Knee pops out randomly
Strongly suggest you get an orthopedic examination of your knee. X-rays of both knees and an MRI of the knee which is popping out on you would give data perhaps necessary for you and your orthopedic doctor to decide how to treat going forward.
Have your knee examined first, but then expect to be sent off for imaging studies. Good luck and hope you get better quick!

Because you're double jointed, your ligaments are loose. What you are experiencing is your patella slipping in and out of place. Your patella ( knee cap) is held in place while you bend your knees with ligaments and muscles. Since your ligaments are loose and may tighten slightly when you are middle age, your patella requires secondary support.
