4 Reasons Why Ask DoctorBase is the Most Efficient Way to SEO and Establish Your Brand Online

  1. Ask DoctorBase is a free service for patients on the DoctorBase platform - currently servicing over 6 million American patients of record.
  2. All answers submitted by healthcare professionals (you) are for entertainment purposes only and do not constitute doctor-patient relationships. All patients must agree to this before using Ask DoctorBase.
  3. Our software and our Marketing Engineering staff review each answer and optimize your answers for keywords valuable to your specialty. It is a well kept secret that doctors (you) - not SEO consultants - are the ones who have the most valuable content prized by search engines. Ask DoctorBase "unlocks and optimizes" your content in the most efficient manner possible with today's technology.
  4. Finally, the doctor who provides the most popular answer - "the Featured Answer," gets an added benefit by allowing patients to write rave reviews about your expertise - reviews that are submitted to both Google and Google Local through our Preferred Data Provider relationship.

Ask Dr. Molly if you have questions or want a personal session on how to best use Ask DoctorBase for maximum marketing impact.

15 year old Eyebrow HAIR LOSS

I'm a 15yr old guy who is very athletic and healthy in ALMOST every aspect. But, I have been losing my eyebrow hair for one YEAR. At first I was freaked out but it want really noticeable so I didn't mind too much. But now, a year later, it has caught up with me. My hair loss is kinda consistent. 1-6 hairs a day fall out. Usually one hair will stick up from my brow and if you pull it in the slightest it will EASILY be pulled out. Seriously I appreciate this I am scared shitless. Thank you

Losing the outer third of the eyebrow is called Hertoghe's sign; usually a sign of hypothyroidism. less likely would be dermatitis atopica. Hypothyroidism usually includes other signs and symptoms. Most people with hypothyroid symptoms who go to their doctor and have their blood tested are told '' your lab tests are normal''. But if patients come to me with hypothyroid symptoms, in spite of normal labs, i treat them with thyroid hormone replacement....and guess what? Most of their hypothyroid symptoms improve.

However, if the only symptom you have is generalized eyebrow hair loss, i tend to agree with Dr.Sandwich. https://www.google.com/search?q=hertoghe%27s+sign&tbm=isch&tbo=u&source=univ&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwio1qXOs5vKAhWJxRQKHdKaCWEQ7AkIMA
can be a thyroid issue. best to have blood work done and physical exam.

Sounds like alopecia areata. It is autoimmune, occurs in healthy people and often triggered by stress. It usually does not portend any serious health problems. There are other causes of hair loss of the eyebrows. A dermatologist can evaluate the problem and offer treatment.
