4 Reasons Why Ask DoctorBase is the Most Efficient Way to SEO and Establish Your Brand Online

  1. Ask DoctorBase is a free service for patients on the DoctorBase platform - currently servicing over 6 million American patients of record.
  2. All answers submitted by healthcare professionals (you) are for entertainment purposes only and do not constitute doctor-patient relationships. All patients must agree to this before using Ask DoctorBase.
  3. Our software and our Marketing Engineering staff review each answer and optimize your answers for keywords valuable to your specialty. It is a well kept secret that doctors (you) - not SEO consultants - are the ones who have the most valuable content prized by search engines. Ask DoctorBase "unlocks and optimizes" your content in the most efficient manner possible with today's technology.
  4. Finally, the doctor who provides the most popular answer - "the Featured Answer," gets an added benefit by allowing patients to write rave reviews about your expertise - reviews that are submitted to both Google and Google Local through our Preferred Data Provider relationship.

Could I have Psoriasis Arthritis at my age?

I have joint pain in my hands (between my joint knuckles not on the actual joints). My right hand has frozen/locked where I could not move it without help from the other hand. I have plantar fasciitis with pain in my arch. I had toe nail deformity that looked like fungus but a podiatrist told me it was due to my psoriasis not fungus. Blood tests = ANA screen reactive. Rheumatoid ftr less than 14. Sed rate 27. React lymph present.

I have family history of psoriatic arthritisPlease any comments?

Psoriatic Arthritis may affect individuals at just about any age. Children may be affected as well. Some of the pain you are describing may well be due to Psoriatic tendonitis or even arthritis.

You should see a Rheumatologist right away. This condition is very treatable with many available options and more on the way.

Make sure you find a Board Certified or Board Eligible Rheumatologist in your area.

Good luck!

You could have psoriatic arthritis. This is an inflammatory arthritis where pain is more prominent at rest for a prolonged period of time rather than with movement. You do not necessarily need to have skin psoriasis yourself but having a close family with skin psoriasis is an risk factor. Psoriasis can affect the nails, where there is detachment from the nail bed. Psoriatic arthritis not only involves the joints but also tendons, being recurrent tendonitis or enthesitis a marker of this disease.
