4 Reasons Why Ask DoctorBase is the Most Efficient Way to SEO and Establish Your Brand Online

  1. Ask DoctorBase is a free service for patients on the DoctorBase platform - currently servicing over 6 million American patients of record.
  2. All answers submitted by healthcare professionals (you) are for entertainment purposes only and do not constitute doctor-patient relationships. All patients must agree to this before using Ask DoctorBase.
  3. Our software and our Marketing Engineering staff review each answer and optimize your answers for keywords valuable to your specialty. It is a well kept secret that doctors (you) - not SEO consultants - are the ones who have the most valuable content prized by search engines. Ask DoctorBase "unlocks and optimizes" your content in the most efficient manner possible with today's technology.
  4. Finally, the doctor who provides the most popular answer - "the Featured Answer," gets an added benefit by allowing patients to write rave reviews about your expertise - reviews that are submitted to both Google and Google Local through our Preferred Data Provider relationship.

Ask Dr. Molly if you have questions or want a personal session on how to best use Ask DoctorBase for maximum marketing impact.

Why does everything upset my stomache?

I take probiotics, enzymes, and occasionally herbs for stomach issues and once in a while I just have an uncomfortable, bloated stomach that isn't happy with anything I eat. My appetite has also changed to where I can no longer stomach what I used to be able to (Ex. eggs, breads, etc.) I also recently noticed headaches after eating breads as well. I know this could be numerous issues and I probably should go get a food allergy test done but any suggestions would be helpful! Thanks

You are right, this could be the result of several issues. My suggestion would be to go see a Traditional Naturopath and have a full evaluation done. Digestion problems can lead to other more serious problems. There are so many things that could be causing this that I could not begin to make suggestions without an evaluation. Good Luck...

I highly recommend doing an elimination diet to see what can be causing your inflammation as that is really more reliable than a food sensitivity test, but it could be more than a food sensitivity. Best bet is to see your doc and get a stool panel done and perhaps a small intestinal bacterial overgrowth (SIBO) breath test done. Poor quality probiotics with prebiotics can cause stomach upset as can some herbs, so be careful there and always make sure you are getting the advice from a trained professional, not a grocery store clerk. If you know you get headaches after eating bread, I think it's safe to assume wheat and/or gluten is an issue for you right now and eliminate it for at least 6-8 weeks to see how you feel. You likely have issues between your gut health and your immune system. You will at a minimum need a stool culture as well as IgG food sensitivity testing. (This is very different from IgE food allergy testing).

This is best handled by a doctor specializing in either functional or integrative medicine.
It sounds like you are doing all the "right" things that common sense and TV advertising tells you to do. But it is obvious we cannot continue to do the same thing over and over and expect different results.

One of the more advanced natural techniques is to do an elimination provocation diet for 30 days. This should give you insight into what your body is sensitive to. You do not need a food allergy to provoke the symptoms you are experiencing.

There is an excellent book out by another author titled; "The Elimination Diet". It is an easy read and very well could help you find the missing piece to your Gut Puzzle.

Warmly,

Hello,

I think homeopathic medicine is for you. A homeopathic practitioner would be able to find the constitutional remedy that will take care of all your symptoms.

I'd have to put you on my table for muscle testing but in general when proteins can't be digested it is because you are under acid--easy enough to test--just take some HCL supplements and if your stomach burns you are not under acid. Stress can play havoc on our bodies and interfere with digestion. Muscle testing can show if your ileocecal valve is stuck in a closed position. Headaches are symptoms of other deeper issues: detoxification and infections-possible candida. Colon cleansing formulas are recommended--PURGE is a strong one I use for extremely blocked clients. See a colonic therapist to rise out your colon or do a (coffee) enema and be sure you are drinking enough clean water to keep your body's elimination systems lubricated. Stay well, Dr. Jon
Try GAPS diet, take HCL, and digestive enzymes.

If you feel bloated and distended, you almost surely have a SIBO situation going on. I would get a SIBO breath test to rule that out. If you do have SIBO, it isn't good enough to just kill the bacteria in your small intestine, you need to find the mechanism by which the ileocecal valve is dysfunctional, got motility is slow, or proper break down of food is not taking place.
Simplicity is the essence of universality. Reading from your own statement, I see that you have complicated life to be a bunch of issues, where you examine the pathology in detail and seek for remedies to change the effect rather than look for simple answers to improve health. My answer to your bunch of issues is to unlearn. Life is capable of taking care of all its problems without any external help. Total reliance on this creative intelligence of life is the basis for the God given true science of health, called Mahayoga & Natural Hygiene. Here we believe that health comes from a healthy life style. Health is the only true entity you have to deal with and not disease.

Check out :www.imanah.com

My guidance to you will consist of 3 steps.

1. Believe in the eternal laws of Nature as taught in the Divine sciences of Mahayoga & Natural Hygiene after reading its basics and understanding life in that perspective.

2. Have implicit faith in the power of Mother Nature to cure you of all ailments and re-establish optimum health.

3. Do not entertain any fear in your heart.

Next, begin by taking a diet of only tender coconut water for a whole week. Every day rise before sunrise and look at sunrise for a duration until the sun looks green. Do ample exercise beginning with mild and gradually building up to more and more intensity and duration. In the privacy of your room, expose parts of your body that are most of the time covered. Stop before the body begins to heat up. Daily do some deep breathing sessions followed by deep meditation. Free consultation will be given by our office if you need any clarification about what I said. Within a month you will become absolutely normal.

If you have not yet done any food allergy testing that would be the next step. If there are any reasons to have developed gut dysbiosis ( stress, antibiotic use or meds) that can be a set up for developing food allergies. That is one reason you can develop issues with foods that never bothered you before. You can also develop intestinal infections which can cause those symptoms. A thorough history , exam and lab testing can help determine the cause.
