Hi. i've had previous breast ultrasound on november 19 and it showed solid mass of 2.78 x 2.3 . I took 7 days antibiotic, started flaxoil supplements and 1000 mg vitamin c and changed my diet to fruit - vegan diet. I've tried also castor oil packs. on december 8, i decided to have a repeat ultrasound, and it showed a decrease in the size which says soft nodule with 1.2 x .90 in size. what could this be?

A breast lump that gets smaller is most likely a cyst, duct, mastitis, or an abscess. Since you were prescribed antibiotics, I presume the latter. However, ultrasound is inexact, so it is also possible that the lump did not decrease as dramatically as the test suggests. In that case, I might also add fibroids. Regardless, it sounds benign.

Best of luck!

Flaxseed oil is used to reduce tumor growth - especially in the breasts. Another common herb that is effective in reducing tumor growth is turmeric.
if lesion got smaller, is it suggesting that this is benign? Is a malignant growth will react to flaxseed oil in terms of reducing the size? Do this calls for urgent biopsy?
