4 Reasons Why Ask DoctorBase is the Most Efficient Way to SEO and Establish Your Brand Online

  1. Ask DoctorBase is a free service for patients on the DoctorBase platform - currently servicing over 6 million American patients of record.
  2. All answers submitted by healthcare professionals (you) are for entertainment purposes only and do not constitute doctor-patient relationships. All patients must agree to this before using Ask DoctorBase.
  3. Our software and our Marketing Engineering staff review each answer and optimize your answers for keywords valuable to your specialty. It is a well kept secret that doctors (you) - not SEO consultants - are the ones who have the most valuable content prized by search engines. Ask DoctorBase "unlocks and optimizes" your content in the most efficient manner possible with today's technology.
  4. Finally, the doctor who provides the most popular answer - "the Featured Answer," gets an added benefit by allowing patients to write rave reviews about your expertise - reviews that are submitted to both Google and Google Local through our Preferred Data Provider relationship.

Bad Smell Coming from Vagina?

I have recently noticed a bad smell coming from my vagina.

My discharge is also thicker than normal, and is white (which, the color doesn't seem abnormal to me, but I'm not sure). It's much less "fluid" than normal.

But I have not noticed any burning or excessive itching, nor does it hurt when I pee. So, what's wrong with me? Or is this normal-ish? If so, what could be causing the abnormally bad smell?

Based on your verbal report, it looks like candidiasis (tropicalis, parapsilosis, rigosa, and countless other types that are accompanied with odor; candida albicans does not have an odor). It can be other yeast infection such as moniliosis, or oidiomycosis. It can be a yeast infection (or disbacteriosis) mixed with trichomoniasis, gonorrhea, chlamydia, haemophilus ducreyiand , and multiple other infectious agents.

Vaginal fungi occur either to fight anaerobe bacterial infections or other non-bacterial infections, or due to the lack of lactobacillus (hormonal imbalance, uncontrolled diabetes, stress, diet, anemia, systematic autoimmune diseases, allergies, flu, etc).

You need to see a specialist, rather than try balancing pH at home or other alternative means.
there are lots of different causes of discharge and odor. You should be seen by your doctor for evaluation and effective treatment.
