I was diagnosed with pertussis/whooping cough (I am an adult and have been vaccinated with dtp when I was younger and tdap a couple of years ago). I'm still coughing a lot and the cough worsens when I lay down so it's very difficult for me to sleep. I'm still on my 4th day of antibiotic treatment. My mom thinks that it's not pertussis. The doctor didn't culture so I guess there's gonna be no definitive answer. But she wants me to see another doctor or a pulmonologist.
