4 Reasons Why Ask DoctorBase is the Most Efficient Way to SEO and Establish Your Brand Online

  1. Ask DoctorBase is a free service for patients on the DoctorBase platform - currently servicing over 6 million American patients of record.
  2. All answers submitted by healthcare professionals (you) are for entertainment purposes only and do not constitute doctor-patient relationships. All patients must agree to this before using Ask DoctorBase.
  3. Our software and our Marketing Engineering staff review each answer and optimize your answers for keywords valuable to your specialty. It is a well kept secret that doctors (you) - not SEO consultants - are the ones who have the most valuable content prized by search engines. Ask DoctorBase "unlocks and optimizes" your content in the most efficient manner possible with today's technology.
  4. Finally, the doctor who provides the most popular answer - "the Featured Answer," gets an added benefit by allowing patients to write rave reviews about your expertise - reviews that are submitted to both Google and Google Local through our Preferred Data Provider relationship.

Ankle Sprain?

I was on a trampoline yesterday when I split per and fell, leading to what I believe is a sprained ankle. My uncle is a doctor, and looked at it a bit and said it looks like a sprain, so I am currently at home, elevating it and applying ice. What i am concerned about is that the ankle is swollen, but not bruised, and doesn't hurt when touched, but is VERY painful when walking. Most of what I'm seeing about ankle sprains say that if it hurts to walk, it should hurt to the touch, but mine doesn't.

Your off to a good start (P.R.I.C.E. = protect, rest, ice, compress, elevate) Your missing ankle realignment which will prevent permanent damage and reduce the risk of re-injury. Extremity Chiropractors are great at gently adjusting ankles to provide for the best recovery. After just a few chiropractic adjustments to the ankle (and the knee, hip, lower spine = all connected - all effected), you will have enough recovery to start some light active PT or may need to continue passive PT (electro stim, etc.) for a few weeks. Make sure you continue to get adjusted by your chiropractor during this time with the Physical therapist.

Ankle sprains can be very painful especially when applying weight. We typically advise RICE: rest, ice, compress. and elevate. I always prefer to get an x-ray to rule out any fractures however.

I've sprained my ankle twice and I heard crunching. It was horrible for 4 weeks. Recovery 3 months total. Lots of swelling and MAJOR bruising. Red, blue, green. Elevation and ice is key.

Go get an Xray. It could be a fracture.
