4 Reasons Why Ask DoctorBase is the Most Efficient Way to SEO and Establish Your Brand Online

  1. Ask DoctorBase is a free service for patients on the DoctorBase platform - currently servicing over 6 million American patients of record.
  2. All answers submitted by healthcare professionals (you) are for entertainment purposes only and do not constitute doctor-patient relationships. All patients must agree to this before using Ask DoctorBase.
  3. Our software and our Marketing Engineering staff review each answer and optimize your answers for keywords valuable to your specialty. It is a well kept secret that doctors (you) - not SEO consultants - are the ones who have the most valuable content prized by search engines. Ask DoctorBase "unlocks and optimizes" your content in the most efficient manner possible with today's technology.
  4. Finally, the doctor who provides the most popular answer - "the Featured Answer," gets an added benefit by allowing patients to write rave reviews about your expertise - reviews that are submitted to both Google and Google Local through our Preferred Data Provider relationship.

My implant has moved, Is this dangerous?

Hi, I got the implant about a month ago. I've been having short, sharp pains in my arm every so often and I've recently noticed that I can feel that the implant has moved about and inch or so towards my elbow, is this normal?

Yes, It sounds like your implant may have moved and it should not have. See your provider who placed your implants.

I have seen movement especially if there has been Weightloss ; for example if you had a gastric bypass and loss 50-100 pounds. Just look at the small scar from insertion and as long as it is close by ; easily found there is usually no problem. You may always get it checked. But if there is no redness nor drainage to suggest an infection it is probably ok.

Your arm will form a small, soft encasement of tissue around the implant in time. If you have been checking it too often, there is a small chance you could have made it move. If it is not over the bone in the elbow, it shouldn't be a problem.

It's normal and fine. Leave it alone.
