4 Reasons Why Ask DoctorBase is the Most Efficient Way to SEO and Establish Your Brand Online

  1. Ask DoctorBase is a free service for patients on the DoctorBase platform - currently servicing over 6 million American patients of record.
  2. All answers submitted by healthcare professionals (you) are for entertainment purposes only and do not constitute doctor-patient relationships. All patients must agree to this before using Ask DoctorBase.
  3. Our software and our Marketing Engineering staff review each answer and optimize your answers for keywords valuable to your specialty. It is a well kept secret that doctors (you) - not SEO consultants - are the ones who have the most valuable content prized by search engines. Ask DoctorBase "unlocks and optimizes" your content in the most efficient manner possible with today's technology.
  4. Finally, the doctor who provides the most popular answer - "the Featured Answer," gets an added benefit by allowing patients to write rave reviews about your expertise - reviews that are submitted to both Google and Google Local through our Preferred Data Provider relationship.

Numb Lips

Recently my lips have started to have a tingling sensation. It normally happens when I turn my head or make any sudden movements. Also, recently, I feel like my heart is always racing. I have gone to the doctor and they have me on Citalopram for anxiety and depression, I have been on this medication for at least 6 months. My heart always feels like it's racing and I feel like I have shortness of breath especially going up stairs or running and that has never been a normal thing for me.

The numb lips are caused by the anxiety. We don't understand why exactly, but when we get anxious we start breathing a bit deeper than we normally would and this causes lower carbon dioxide levels in the blood and that in turn causes the tingling. Though this can be annoying and scary at times, the important thing to remember is it is common and is NOT dangerous. So don't worry more! Might talk to your doctor. He or she might adjust your medication. Also, counseling and aerobic exercise might help.

Best of luck!
It would appear that a bone spickle in your neck touches the sensory nerve to your lips when you move your head in certain directions. This could be elicited by physical examination of your head and upper neck. An X-ray or CT Scan of the upper neck may be needed for its confirmation.

Unless you have a history of familial high blood cholesterol, I will attribute your heart symptoms to the medications you are taking for depression. Your doctor may consider tailing off those medications and changing to other alternatives.
Serious symptoms, especially for someone so young. You have a lot going on. watch the following short video about the type of MD that would best serve you, then find one in your area. DO NOT DELAY.
