You are so young which eliminates common problems for numbness and headache. You would have pain and fever if you had an infection, most likely. You could have Sensory nerve damage; Many questions need to be asked about your lifestyle. B12 deficiency is becoming a problem with young adults and is often misdiagnosed. Have you ever taken Accutane? as a young adult I would ask that? have you taken any type of medication that may have caused a toxic over load? Again because of your age you need to see a doctor who will ask you questions about your intake and your environment. Not to overwhelm you with a long list of what could be wrong. Just don't over look something that's in your lifestyle.

The symptoms may have occurred as a result of stress or emotional upset. The homeopathic remedy Platinum Metallicum may provide relief from the ear numbness and headache.

This is a challenging complaint to answer. A complete examination and history are needed to accurately 'Ferret' out the reason for this problem.

The difficulty is that: where we perceive discomfort (pain, numbness, headache, fullness, paresthesias) to be in the Head and Neck is often not where the source (primary generator of the discomfort) is located.

The Ear is innervated by 4 cranial nerves and cervical (neck) nerve branches. This means that discomfort for the Ear could actually be from the Ear itself (outer ear and inner ear) or perceptually referred to the ear from:

1) Jaw joint

2) Molar Teeth

3) Posterior tongue

4) Posterior Nose and Upper Throat

5) Tonsils

6) back of throat

7) Soft Palate

8) The Pharynx (throat)

9) Voice Box

10) Deep neck

11) Posterior neck Musculature

12) or of a Purely Neurological origin of varying causes

In short, unless your Ear exam is abnormal, a complete Head and Neck examination and History is needed to 'Ferret' the source of your complaints and the eventual appropriate application of a treatment. Visit your local ENT for a completes examination; and your Internist.

Both your ear numbness and your head ache are symptoms indicating that you need to take a wholistic approach according to Natural Hygiene principles to get an effective and safe recovery to normal health. whereas the websites on this topic including this http://www.rightdiagnosis.com/sym/ear_numbness.htm

states :

Ear numbness: Introduction

The skin sensation of partial numbness or "pins and needles" or a type of "burning", "tingling" or "creeping" sensation of the skin, is known as a "paresthesia". Symptomsmay start as a tingling (paresthesia) and change to a numbness, or there may be a combination of decreased sensation (numbness) but with heightened sensations at certain times or with stimulation. Any type of tingling, burning, or numbness is usually a symptom related to a sensory nerve being damaged, diseased, or injured. Causes depend on the exact location of the paresthesia sensations, but typically include a physical nerve injury type condition (e.g. a nerve entrapment or some type of pressure being applied to a nerve directly or to the spinal attachment of that nerve), or a disease condition affecting the nerves (e.g. neuropathy, diabetic neuropathy, multiple sclerosis, diabetes, and others). Having these sensory symptoms in multiple locations, or the recurrence of similar symptoms in different locations is a hallmark symptom of multiple sclerosis, so your doctor will likely ask about the past history of similar symptoms to assess the likelihood of multiple sclerosis as a diagnosis (see symptoms of multiple sclerosis).

Natural Hygiene considers the whole body as one organic unit which functions better and better as you keep improving your overall health by adopting those natural laws of health in your daily life style. Local apfplications of herbal packs also help in bringing back sensitivity in the affected parts of the body. Head aches could be relieved by administering natural resources like water through some hydrotherapy applications and through deep breathing exercises followed by meditation techniques. Details can be taught only in personal sessions with a qualified natural hygienist. We have treated s good number of people successfully and they are living free from drugs and diseases. Duration may vary from one to six months depending on the depth of the problem and duration of the problem for each individual. Natural ways are very effective, safe and sure.

Do you have numbness in both ears? If you have headache with both ears numbness it may be due to temperomandibular dysfunction where you need anti inflammatory, soft diet and avoid chewing gums. If you have bruxism need a night retainer to avoid bruxism. If you have unilateral numbness need to investigate using CT scan of tmjoint if the result is negative need MRI brain to rule out acoustic neuroma which can present as a unilateral numbness with headache. Hope this helps you.

Signs, signals and symptoms can come and go along with their cause uneventfully.

You have had numbness in one of your ears for five days. If it is a simple infection, it

may simply disappear as easily as it came. Having a headache may be normal with any

inflammation associated with an infection or not.

I wouldn't be too concerned about this health challenge for a few more days. If it persists,

I would see someone that understands how the body works holistically. Anything can cause everything and everything can cause anything. A good medical detective should figure out your

challenge in short order...

This is not a typical complaint in an Ear, Nose &Throat practice. I'd be curious to know if you are noticing any change in hearing. I recommend that you see an ENT specialist. Make sure you have the opportunity to have a hearing test as part of your visit. Should your symptoms worsen, particularly the headache, a neurologic evaluation may be needed as well.
The numbness is due to poor blood and lymph circulation. I would suggest taking L-arginine, whole leaf aloe vera and a lower bowel cleanser like magnesium oxide or cascara sagrada. Due not eat solid food after 5 pm.
Headache the whole time
