4 Reasons Why Ask DoctorBase is the Most Efficient Way to SEO and Establish Your Brand Online

  1. Ask DoctorBase is a free service for patients on the DoctorBase platform - currently servicing over 6 million American patients of record.
  2. All answers submitted by healthcare professionals (you) are for entertainment purposes only and do not constitute doctor-patient relationships. All patients must agree to this before using Ask DoctorBase.
  3. Our software and our Marketing Engineering staff review each answer and optimize your answers for keywords valuable to your specialty. It is a well kept secret that doctors (you) - not SEO consultants - are the ones who have the most valuable content prized by search engines. Ask DoctorBase "unlocks and optimizes" your content in the most efficient manner possible with today's technology.
  4. Finally, the doctor who provides the most popular answer - "the Featured Answer," gets an added benefit by allowing patients to write rave reviews about your expertise - reviews that are submitted to both Google and Google Local through our Preferred Data Provider relationship.

CT Scan analysis

My CT scan came up negative as a result of problems associated with infection. I would like to request second opinion for possible hemorrhaging/brain aneurysm or complications due to infection.

Age: 29

Associated Problems: Original Tooth abscess

Symptoms: Light headed. Severe migraine. Ice pick stabs on top of head. Feeling of something running on top of head like a thick gue like blood.

Notes: Went to emergency room and was denied treatment due to the diagnosis of 'routine headache' after CT scan.

Hi there. A negative CT scan of the head does not complete the work-up for your presentation with headaches but it does exclude any acute intracranial problem that requires urgent treatment. It is important that you follow up with your primary physician and if appropriate seek a referral to a neurologist who can more definitively evaluate your symptoms and potentially identify a source for your headaches and light-headedness.

Thanks, Paul Gibson MD.

A negative CT doesn't mean that the work-up of a diagnosis for your headaches is over. It's just not up to the ER to do anything more than determine if your situation is an emergency. From here, you need to take the results back to your regular physician - or if you're in a plan that allows you to see a specialist directly - a neurologist, and let them decide with you what other tests should be done or treatment options to pursue

Dear Sir,

I would be happy to give a second opinion on your CT scan, but I would need to be able to see it. Can you have images uploaded so I can examine them? Also, I would like to ask you a few more questions about your health history as well, if this is alright with you.

Thank you, Andrea Lundell, MD
