4 Reasons Why Ask DoctorBase is the Most Efficient Way to SEO and Establish Your Brand Online

  1. Ask DoctorBase is a free service for patients on the DoctorBase platform - currently servicing over 6 million American patients of record.
  2. All answers submitted by healthcare professionals (you) are for entertainment purposes only and do not constitute doctor-patient relationships. All patients must agree to this before using Ask DoctorBase.
  3. Our software and our Marketing Engineering staff review each answer and optimize your answers for keywords valuable to your specialty. It is a well kept secret that doctors (you) - not SEO consultants - are the ones who have the most valuable content prized by search engines. Ask DoctorBase "unlocks and optimizes" your content in the most efficient manner possible with today's technology.
  4. Finally, the doctor who provides the most popular answer - "the Featured Answer," gets an added benefit by allowing patients to write rave reviews about your expertise - reviews that are submitted to both Google and Google Local through our Preferred Data Provider relationship.

Yes and No
I assume you mean a 'sprain or strain'? Yes, this can lead to many different problems and should be evaluated by a foot and ankle specialist.
some questions just need more meat. What exactly do you mean? strains are bad for any tendon regardless of extremity, YES i guess!
Flavio Cordano
It sounds like you are having muscle spasms if I understand you correctly. This can be a sight of overuse and fatigue. It can also indicate dehydration. Stretching and drinking lots of water or sports drinks helps. Also get enough potassium in you diet.

I am not really clear on what you mean by "pulling tendons" so I cannot say if it is good or bad. To simply gently move them from side to side a little probably does no harm. Stretching exercises before and after exercise is actually a good thing for tendons. Doing something involving aggressive unnatural motions with the tendons or obsessive behavior could be bad for you. Start by asking your parents or a physical education teacher and show them what you are doing. If you are having pain or weakness, then see a podiatrist.

Would like to answer your question, but do not really understand it. It is not a good habit to overstress any part of your body.
I am not sure what you mean but if you have pain you should see a podiatrist for evaluation and treatment soon.
Jerald Askin
Yes it is bad to pull them. You can strain them or rupture them. Results can be extremely painful

Your foot provides weight bearing support for your entire body. If you consider that, then difficulty of the foot to maintain stability is an important problem to correct. The tendons connect muscle to the bones. When we pull muscles not only might we loose support but we also loose strength. This creates pain and instability. Some problems heel on their own, others require assistance. The last thing you want is a chronic instability problem. The hardness you speak of, leads me believe this is chronic. I suggest you have this evaluated by a qualified podiatrist.

It sounds like you are having painful symptoms which warrant professional evaluation and treatment by your local podiatrist. Please seek prompt professional care.
