4 Reasons Why Ask DoctorBase is the Most Efficient Way to SEO and Establish Your Brand Online

  1. Ask DoctorBase is a free service for patients on the DoctorBase platform - currently servicing over 6 million American patients of record.
  2. All answers submitted by healthcare professionals (you) are for entertainment purposes only and do not constitute doctor-patient relationships. All patients must agree to this before using Ask DoctorBase.
  3. Our software and our Marketing Engineering staff review each answer and optimize your answers for keywords valuable to your specialty. It is a well kept secret that doctors (you) - not SEO consultants - are the ones who have the most valuable content prized by search engines. Ask DoctorBase "unlocks and optimizes" your content in the most efficient manner possible with today's technology.
  4. Finally, the doctor who provides the most popular answer - "the Featured Answer," gets an added benefit by allowing patients to write rave reviews about your expertise - reviews that are submitted to both Google and Google Local through our Preferred Data Provider relationship.

Joint and muscle pain, blisters

Hi! My sister is experiencing a strange pain for 2months now. She interpret the pain in her hand as like she's having a hard time to open her hands fully and she cannot walk properly. She now developed blisters in her hand that we can't tell if connected to the pains.

Thanks for adding the picture of your rashes. Although it is not a typical bull's eye rash, it shows a bite mark. Depending on where you visited in the last 2-4 weeks, that could be a tick bite, which causes Lyme disease, which in turn could account for most of the symptoms you described. Since this is almost Lyme season, you should see a doctor near you for full evaluation. The earlier the diagnosis is made, the better the chances of eradicating the disease, and the less the complications.
could be 2 separate issues which would leave for many possible diagnosis's. Or, if related, then it is likely due to a systemic problem or problems. Not nearly enough information to draw any conclusions. Write back with much much more detail.

Your description of your sister's problems generates more questions than answers, unfortunately. Is her difficulty walking because of weakness in her legs or pain in the joints? And if pain in the joints, which ones (hips, knees, ankles all of them, both sides)? How old is your sister? Age has a lot to do with developing certain diseases such as Bullous pemphigoid which usually occurs in older adults. Is/was she sexually active? Any STD's to your knowledge (especially syphilis)? Any tick bites? Any history of autoimmune diseases?

Sorry to pepper you with all these questions, but I'm sure you can see how important it is that your sister seek the attention of a medical provider as soon as possible for a full evaluation including blood work and possibly imaging if they think it's necessary.

I wish her the very best outcome.
