4 Reasons Why Ask DoctorBase is the Most Efficient Way to SEO and Establish Your Brand Online

  1. Ask DoctorBase is a free service for patients on the DoctorBase platform - currently servicing over 6 million American patients of record.
  2. All answers submitted by healthcare professionals (you) are for entertainment purposes only and do not constitute doctor-patient relationships. All patients must agree to this before using Ask DoctorBase.
  3. Our software and our Marketing Engineering staff review each answer and optimize your answers for keywords valuable to your specialty. It is a well kept secret that doctors (you) - not SEO consultants - are the ones who have the most valuable content prized by search engines. Ask DoctorBase "unlocks and optimizes" your content in the most efficient manner possible with today's technology.
  4. Finally, the doctor who provides the most popular answer - "the Featured Answer," gets an added benefit by allowing patients to write rave reviews about your expertise - reviews that are submitted to both Google and Google Local through our Preferred Data Provider relationship.

There is not enough information given to render any meaningful opinion as to the cause of her particular pain, but in general chest pain can be caused by quite a number of conditions, the most bothersome and potentially lethal is a heart condition, either angina or heart attack. Any time someone has undiagnosed chest pain they should be evaluated quickly so I'd recommend she be seen as soon as possible by a physician. The Emergency Room would be my recommendation as they can make a quick diagnosis and begin treatment in the most timely manner. Best Wishes for your mother.

Could be many things, but the most important thing is that she get checked out by her doctor just to make sure it isn't anything serious.

Best of luck!
Your mom's central chest pain needs a little more description to figure out if it is originating from her chest muscles, bones, lungs, heart , gut, or skin. Since heart attack in women can be be very subtle, I encourage her to see a doctor as soon as possible. There isn't much room for guess work here.
Many = no case history to tell you anything of value other than to get her to an MD for evaluation.

Both answers below are correct. The question your indirectly wanting to ask is "tell me it's not a heart attack". This can be hard enough to do in person with the luxury of asking the details of the symptoms, this of course can't be done with the amount of information we have and we would need more than an online a valuation of course. People can go to the emergency room and sometimes have their heart attacks over look so much more and occur in the setting. But of course heart attack isn't the only possibility and it's not the only concern so definitely get from emergency room a valuation and technically if we were in the office and the patient were in front of us we might have to tell them that we have to call an ambulance even if we're not sure . I wish you and your mother well
