4 Reasons Why Ask DoctorBase is the Most Efficient Way to SEO and Establish Your Brand Online

  1. Ask DoctorBase is a free service for patients on the DoctorBase platform - currently servicing over 6 million American patients of record.
  2. All answers submitted by healthcare professionals (you) are for entertainment purposes only and do not constitute doctor-patient relationships. All patients must agree to this before using Ask DoctorBase.
  3. Our software and our Marketing Engineering staff review each answer and optimize your answers for keywords valuable to your specialty. It is a well kept secret that doctors (you) - not SEO consultants - are the ones who have the most valuable content prized by search engines. Ask DoctorBase "unlocks and optimizes" your content in the most efficient manner possible with today's technology.
  4. Finally, the doctor who provides the most popular answer - "the Featured Answer," gets an added benefit by allowing patients to write rave reviews about your expertise - reviews that are submitted to both Google and Google Local through our Preferred Data Provider relationship.

STD

I went to the doctor a few weeks ago and was positive for chlamydia. My doctor gave me 4 pills, each 250mg of Azithromycin. A week later my symptoms came back. She sent in a prescription for me and my partner. Same thing again. We took them both at the same time last night. When can we regain sexual activity with out a worry?

You must both wait 7 days after treatment of chlamydia before starting sexual activity. In this case, you may have sex 7 days after your last treatment.

Best of luck!
Seven days after you both took the pill.
How about a followup lab test in a couple of weeks to confirm that you and your partner are both free of chlamydia infection before you resume sexual activity.?
1 week after the last treatment.
You should also make sure you were tested for gonorrhea and trichimonas given your recurrent symptoms. The Likelihood or resistance is pretty low and your symptoms may be caused by either re-infection from partner, upper genitourinary tract infection or concomitant infection with another organism. In your case, I would ask for actual culture rather than a rapid test. Guidelines suggest that you can have sexual activity 7 days after your last treatment
This maybe a resistant strain or perhaps even another type of organism. I highly recommend you go back into your doctor and both of you get checked (you rechecked). This is the most thorough way of dealing with this issue.
