4 Reasons Why Ask DoctorBase is the Most Efficient Way to SEO and Establish Your Brand Online

  1. Ask DoctorBase is a free service for patients on the DoctorBase platform - currently servicing over 6 million American patients of record.
  2. All answers submitted by healthcare professionals (you) are for entertainment purposes only and do not constitute doctor-patient relationships. All patients must agree to this before using Ask DoctorBase.
  3. Our software and our Marketing Engineering staff review each answer and optimize your answers for keywords valuable to your specialty. It is a well kept secret that doctors (you) - not SEO consultants - are the ones who have the most valuable content prized by search engines. Ask DoctorBase "unlocks and optimizes" your content in the most efficient manner possible with today's technology.
  4. Finally, the doctor who provides the most popular answer - "the Featured Answer," gets an added benefit by allowing patients to write rave reviews about your expertise - reviews that are submitted to both Google and Google Local through our Preferred Data Provider relationship.

Swollen Labia and Extreme Pain During Sex, Frequent UTI's

Recently recovered from a UTI that turned into a kidney infection. I was on antibiotics for almost a month. Everything cleared up but during intercourse I had to stop due to a very sharp pain. Now I have a swollen right side of my labia right near my clitorus. No other symptoms or problems but sex is impossible and the entire region feels hot and uncomfortable.

I would see your OB/Gyn. I do not think this problem has anything to do with your recent UTI and kidney infection. It most likely is a skin infection that has developed into a labial abscess, since you describe it as hot and swollen. Your doctor needs to see it before an accurate diagnosis can be made. Between now and the time you see your doctor I would apply moist warm heat to the area with a wet facecloth. Good luck.
I would agree with the possibility of a vulvar infection. This can only be determined by an exam in your doctor's office to determine the appropriate treatment.
I'm concerned about genital infection. You need an exam and possible testing for yeast, herpes, vestibulitis, and problems with the urethra.
