4 Reasons Why Ask DoctorBase is the Most Efficient Way to SEO and Establish Your Brand Online

  1. Ask DoctorBase is a free service for patients on the DoctorBase platform - currently servicing over 6 million American patients of record.
  2. All answers submitted by healthcare professionals (you) are for entertainment purposes only and do not constitute doctor-patient relationships. All patients must agree to this before using Ask DoctorBase.
  3. Our software and our Marketing Engineering staff review each answer and optimize your answers for keywords valuable to your specialty. It is a well kept secret that doctors (you) - not SEO consultants - are the ones who have the most valuable content prized by search engines. Ask DoctorBase "unlocks and optimizes" your content in the most efficient manner possible with today's technology.
  4. Finally, the doctor who provides the most popular answer - "the Featured Answer," gets an added benefit by allowing patients to write rave reviews about your expertise - reviews that are submitted to both Google and Google Local through our Preferred Data Provider relationship.

Weird Period or Miscarriage?

I have been bleeding profusely for the past 2 days. No matter how many pads I put on they get soaked within an hour. Yesterday it started pouring out of me like water and soaked me down to my knees. I have also been having huge clots the size of 4 quarters along with the heavy bleeding. A lot of times it hurts but it's mostly huge clots every time I bleed and just a lot of blood. And keep in mind that if I was pregnant I would only be 4 weeks. The clots are also really thick.

This could be an abnormal period or a miscarriage. You should have a pregnancy test and see your doctor about this.
Heavy periods like this are potentially dangerous and require immediate attention either by your physician or at an Emergency Department. While there are many causes of heavy menstrual bleeding at your age miscarriage would be at the top of the list. Often times though while you may consider your bleeding heavy, after professional evaluation and blood testing the bleeding turns out not to be life threatening. Only after evaluation can that determination be made. There are many simple treatments that can be prescribed to control your bleeding.
Any woman who is bleeding as heavy as you describe should go immediately to the Emergency Room and get help. At the ER multiple tests can be performed including an ultrasound to see just what is going on. A rapid pregnancy test can and should be done also. Good luck.
You first should be SEEN in the ER - and you can do a pregnancy test too - if you are pregnant - the pregnancy test would be positive - and if continuing to bleed and you are pregnant - you could be having an INCOMPLETE miscarriage that requires treatment
