4 Reasons Why Ask DoctorBase is the Most Efficient Way to SEO and Establish Your Brand Online

  1. Ask DoctorBase is a free service for patients on the DoctorBase platform - currently servicing over 6 million American patients of record.
  2. All answers submitted by healthcare professionals (you) are for entertainment purposes only and do not constitute doctor-patient relationships. All patients must agree to this before using Ask DoctorBase.
  3. Our software and our Marketing Engineering staff review each answer and optimize your answers for keywords valuable to your specialty. It is a well kept secret that doctors (you) - not SEO consultants - are the ones who have the most valuable content prized by search engines. Ask DoctorBase "unlocks and optimizes" your content in the most efficient manner possible with today's technology.
  4. Finally, the doctor who provides the most popular answer - "the Featured Answer," gets an added benefit by allowing patients to write rave reviews about your expertise - reviews that are submitted to both Google and Google Local through our Preferred Data Provider relationship.

Ask Dr. Molly if you have questions or want a personal session on how to best use Ask DoctorBase for maximum marketing impact.

HRT

My fiancee has stopped her HRT for about a year now.....Since then she has hot flashes every day, bouts of depression and can not loose weight even though she exercises regularly and does not over eat. How long before her body regulates itself if ever??

Hot flashes& depression and many other bad things will happen when estrogen is very low,as in or even before menopause. If she wants to stay young and eliminate all the symptoms of low estrogen then she needs to take estroneg but not the hourse urine type that gynecologists still prescribe. I only prescribe the BIO-IDENTICAL type which is safer. It is extracted from plants, mainly soy&yam but is identical to what humans make. If u need more info, email me shabanah @att.net

It might take a year or two -

She can get a prescription to clonidine and/or a SSRI to help with this.

She is having symptoms of hormone imbalance which can be managed even if she is afraid to take estrogen. Reduced estrogen levels are only part of the problem women experience as ovarian function declines. She needs a doctor who will work with to design an age management plan with which she is comfortable.

She will most likely not "regulate". She is low or completely missing her hormones which are integral for her mental and physical well-being. If she does not want to replace the hormones that she is missing, she may need other medications for the symptoms such as antidepressant medications to elevate her Serotonin, cholesterol lowering medications when her lipids elevate and medications to stop bone loss. Her weight will require increased exercise and less calories as her basal metabolic rate will slow. There are many non-hormonal medications for hot flashes as well as Homeopathy and acupuncture. She should see an MD trained in mid-life issues and specializing in Hormone replacement. She can discuss why she does not want HRT and alternative treatments.
