4 Reasons Why Ask DoctorBase is the Most Efficient Way to SEO and Establish Your Brand Online

  1. Ask DoctorBase is a free service for patients on the DoctorBase platform - currently servicing over 6 million American patients of record.
  2. All answers submitted by healthcare professionals (you) are for entertainment purposes only and do not constitute doctor-patient relationships. All patients must agree to this before using Ask DoctorBase.
  3. Our software and our Marketing Engineering staff review each answer and optimize your answers for keywords valuable to your specialty. It is a well kept secret that doctors (you) - not SEO consultants - are the ones who have the most valuable content prized by search engines. Ask DoctorBase "unlocks and optimizes" your content in the most efficient manner possible with today's technology.
  4. Finally, the doctor who provides the most popular answer - "the Featured Answer," gets an added benefit by allowing patients to write rave reviews about your expertise - reviews that are submitted to both Google and Google Local through our Preferred Data Provider relationship.

Ouchy Foot

I have this thing on my foot. You could call it a sore I guess. It feels like grated cheese and looks like it went through a grater. Its started about 3 days ago. At first my foot was just sore and then the sore developed. Now today it turned green and looks moldy. I don't know what to do cause it hurts to walk. Any suggestions?

Looks like a wart. Find a reputable Podiatrist and have it removed

Probably a verruca or plantar wart. See a DPM who offers non invasive methods of dealing with these before it spreads further or to someone else.
Everyone says the same thing.. It's a wart. Lots of homeopathic remedies and over the counter. Be prepared it may take a little while to go away. Duct tape works but seeing a specialist would be best option. Best of luck

Looks like a plantar wart. They are EXTREMELY painful to have cut out so I'd do absolutely everything you can to avoid a scalpel to the bottom of your foot. There is some evidence (believe it or not) that duct tape applied to the skin (for MANY weeks) may help speed their resolution. AND, the duct tape does not have to be placed directly over the wart according to to the studies.

While the banana peel over the wart may also work (if duct tape can work what's to say a banana peel can't) however, I'd be cautious putting the peel on your foot. I'm sure you've seen cartoons...

In any event, the traditional do-it-yourself method is to file the wart down until it is quite painful (even bleeding a little) and then applying salicylic acid (found at any pharmacy) over the wart and placing a bandage over it. From experience, this is miserable but does - eventually - work (2-3 MONTHS when applied every other day). Typically, warts will resolve themselves over 2-3 years - so the text books say - but I don't know anyone who has not intervened one way or another due to the pain and irritation of plantar warts.

Best of luck, read the article linked above.
Well, it certainly doesnt look like anything awful like a cancer ..so if in fact it is a plantar wart I would try the unusual technique of using a banana peel taped over the wart every day for 10 days...sounds crazy but some of my patients have had luck with it...
It looks like a plantars wart. A wart is caused by a virus. It should be properly diagnosed by your doctor/podiatrist so it can be resolved quickly.

Looks like mosaic plantar wart
It appears to be a wart. It appears to have been there for a while-it is large. You should see a podiatrist and start treatment right away. If not it may increase in size
