If it has a strong fishy odor it is almost always bacterial vaginosis. This can be a chronic condition meaning it can occur often so I usually give patients refills of a medication called Flagyl. You take it orally twice a day for 7 to 10 days it works very well. Good luck.

Whitish discharge with odor is most commonly bacterial vaginosis, easily treated with medication. It could possibly also be a yeast infection, or a combination of both. There is also a possibility of an ATD. Have a checkup and the doctor will make a diagnosis and give you the treatment.
