4 Reasons Why Ask DoctorBase is the Most Efficient Way to SEO and Establish Your Brand Online

  1. Ask DoctorBase is a free service for patients on the DoctorBase platform - currently servicing over 6 million American patients of record.
  2. All answers submitted by healthcare professionals (you) are for entertainment purposes only and do not constitute doctor-patient relationships. All patients must agree to this before using Ask DoctorBase.
  3. Our software and our Marketing Engineering staff review each answer and optimize your answers for keywords valuable to your specialty. It is a well kept secret that doctors (you) - not SEO consultants - are the ones who have the most valuable content prized by search engines. Ask DoctorBase "unlocks and optimizes" your content in the most efficient manner possible with today's technology.
  4. Finally, the doctor who provides the most popular answer - "the Featured Answer," gets an added benefit by allowing patients to write rave reviews about your expertise - reviews that are submitted to both Google and Google Local through our Preferred Data Provider relationship.

Sharp needle like vaginal pain?

I'm not sexually active currently, (no sex in almost two years) so pregnancy is out of the question. Had a pap smear recently and tested negative for everything except high risk hpv. My cycles are still normal. However I have been having extreme sharp vaginal pain, only lasting for less than two seconds and come and go. This has been happening for about 5 months, the pains are definitely less painful now and sometimes they go away for like a week. What can this be?

It is difficult to guess what the cause is . Should have an exam just to make sure it is nothing important.

The other issue is no desire for sex is not normal. This is one of the areas of my expertise. You can call me

Sounds like a pinched nerve or muscular spasm - did you do any new activity prior to this happening, such as exercises, bike riding, bowling, etc? Since it feels improved, I wouldn't worry about it but have it checked out if recurs.

Best to be examined

to find out for sure.

whatever it is, it is most likely unrelated to the hpv

these types of pain are usually muscular

you need a full exam to determine the cause
