4 Reasons Why Ask DoctorBase is the Most Efficient Way to SEO and Establish Your Brand Online

  1. Ask DoctorBase is a free service for patients on the DoctorBase platform - currently servicing over 6 million American patients of record.
  2. All answers submitted by healthcare professionals (you) are for entertainment purposes only and do not constitute doctor-patient relationships. All patients must agree to this before using Ask DoctorBase.
  3. Our software and our Marketing Engineering staff review each answer and optimize your answers for keywords valuable to your specialty. It is a well kept secret that doctors (you) - not SEO consultants - are the ones who have the most valuable content prized by search engines. Ask DoctorBase "unlocks and optimizes" your content in the most efficient manner possible with today's technology.
  4. Finally, the doctor who provides the most popular answer - "the Featured Answer," gets an added benefit by allowing patients to write rave reviews about your expertise - reviews that are submitted to both Google and Google Local through our Preferred Data Provider relationship.

Could this be a yeast infection or something else?

Hi,

For the past couple of days I have had a burning sensation during intercourse and it goes away in about an hour. I don't have any pain other then when I wipe but intense itchiness through out the day. I DON'T have any discharge or a funny smell what could this be.

Don't forget to take a probiotic. That can change the health of the vaginal tract, especially if you've been on antibiotics.
This needs to be checked.
From what u describe,it is typical inflammation. sooner or later, there will be some discharge. So in a few days, if it does not subside then u should see your doctor.

Sounds like an allergic reaction - are you using any lubricants or stimulant jelly? It could also be a yeast infection irritated with intercourse. An exam would reveal any inflammation.

You do not mention whether your partner is using a condom....this could be a form of Latex allergy. Also if this a "new" partner...you may have a reaction to his semen.....not necessarily allergic reaction but he may have a benign prostate inflammation or infection in his seminal vesicles that is not a mayor symptom to him but may be causing the symptoms you describe. If there is the use of lubricants or edible lotions this may also cause the symptoms mentioned. One would need a more in depth history to give a much more accurate diagnosis or explanation.
