4 Reasons Why Ask DoctorBase is the Most Efficient Way to SEO and Establish Your Brand Online

  1. Ask DoctorBase is a free service for patients on the DoctorBase platform - currently servicing over 6 million American patients of record.
  2. All answers submitted by healthcare professionals (you) are for entertainment purposes only and do not constitute doctor-patient relationships. All patients must agree to this before using Ask DoctorBase.
  3. Our software and our Marketing Engineering staff review each answer and optimize your answers for keywords valuable to your specialty. It is a well kept secret that doctors (you) - not SEO consultants - are the ones who have the most valuable content prized by search engines. Ask DoctorBase "unlocks and optimizes" your content in the most efficient manner possible with today's technology.
  4. Finally, the doctor who provides the most popular answer - "the Featured Answer," gets an added benefit by allowing patients to write rave reviews about your expertise - reviews that are submitted to both Google and Google Local through our Preferred Data Provider relationship.

What I find most helpful for these types of rashes are things that help both the skin and immune systems function normally. You've got to be on a probiotic (like acidophilus). I like HMF Forte from Seroyal. You can also pick up Culturelle at the drug store. The bacteria come there because you don't have enough of your own bacteria to kill it. I also like UNDA 270 cream. Unlike steroids (hydrocortisone) which completely destroy your skin's normal function and weaken it, this cream helps your skin be healthier, and that means not itchy.
Bathing suits trap a lot of moisture which can lead to maceration (break down) of the skin. The normal yeast that we all have on our bodies then take advantage of this situation which leads to a "yeast infection". I see this a lot in young moms who are teaching their kids to swim and their bathing suits are wet for hours on end. I would first try an over the counter yeast medication like Monistat (the store brand is fine and a lot cheaper). If you still have itching after you have tried that, then I would see a gynecologist. Good luck.
STDs are neither contracted in swimming pools, nor in hot tubs or jacuzzi. See a gynecologist for your problem, as itching may refer to multiple causes (trichomoniasis, candida, gardnerella, yeast, diabetes mellitus, etc).
This is usually a

yeast infection.

Best to be checked.

This commonly can result in a yeast infection. First line of treatment would be an over the counter anti fungal like Monistat, and consider using a product that has a topical cream to address the irritation externally. This usually will remedy the problem. If you're still symptomatic after a course of treatment, see your gynecologist for a more thorough evaluation.
