4 Reasons Why Ask DoctorBase is the Most Efficient Way to SEO and Establish Your Brand Online

  1. Ask DoctorBase is a free service for patients on the DoctorBase platform - currently servicing over 6 million American patients of record.
  2. All answers submitted by healthcare professionals (you) are for entertainment purposes only and do not constitute doctor-patient relationships. All patients must agree to this before using Ask DoctorBase.
  3. Our software and our Marketing Engineering staff review each answer and optimize your answers for keywords valuable to your specialty. It is a well kept secret that doctors (you) - not SEO consultants - are the ones who have the most valuable content prized by search engines. Ask DoctorBase "unlocks and optimizes" your content in the most efficient manner possible with today's technology.
  4. Finally, the doctor who provides the most popular answer - "the Featured Answer," gets an added benefit by allowing patients to write rave reviews about your expertise - reviews that are submitted to both Google and Google Local through our Preferred Data Provider relationship.

Tvt sling pain with sex

I had tvt sling put in 10 weeks Ago for sui. The sui is cured. But there is a sharp pain during sex and sometimes my sitting, being position. Or tampons. I felt with my f fingers and it is a hard part, and sharp and very sensitive when I touch it right on the bottom of cervix? Before you enter the soft large part of vagina. Could I be still healing? Could this ever be fixed or am I the 1% who had pain during sex with this device. I am scheduled for a follow up but it's very disappointing.

When you go for your check-up, your physician will find out if the sling is protruding into that area and take care of it.
You may have a mesh exposure or possibly a mesh erosion. I would follow up with the operating surgeon for evaluation. Often this can be improved with a short course of antibiotics and topical estrogen therapy. In less common circumstances the device may need to be removed or revised.
This could be a small erosion, but more likely the sling may be too tight and "bowstringing" This can be revised or even replaced. Yes there is a small percentage of people that have pain, but certainly don't assume you are one without looking at the options and even having a second opinion.

There is a small possibility that there is some erosion of the mesh and it is causing you discomfort. This can usually be fixed by just covering the mesh with the vaginal tissue. I would recommend a good exam to determine what is causing this. Good luck!
you need to be evaluated by the physician who put in the tape

Wait a couple of months before you get too discouraged. It may improve. Your doc will be likely have some good ideas

on how to address the problem. He/she knows the procedure used, the type of mesh, and your anatomy, therefore your doc is best suited to help you.
