How young is too young to start using anti-aging products?

Could using anti-aging products when you are too young have negative affects on the skin? Thanks for your help!

Elena, UVA/UVB Sun Protection is extremely important in protecting your skin and it should be the first product to be used to prevent premature aging. So start protecting your skin now. Depending on your age and your concern would depend on other products that can or should be added to help slow down the aging process.
Elena,
The first anti-aging product that everyone should use is a great sunscreen, starting in childhood. Make sure it has good UVA and UVB protection, and I generally recommend an SPF of 30 or higher.
Some of the acne treatments, like tretinoin, also have anti-aging benefits, so they can be started at a young age and continued throughout life.
See your dermatologist to discuss what may be the best anti-aging treatments for your skin.

There is no reason not to start anti aging skin care products at an early age. There are continuing and additive effects that will provide protection to your skin through the years. Most importantly the protection provided by SPF 15 or better sunblock is the highest priority and least expensive decision you can make
On young patients we usually recommend a good cleanser, toner and sunblock. You're never to young to start protecting your skin especially with sunscreens. If acne is a concern then we address that issue with products designed for acne in young adults.
when you are young we usually just start with a good cleanser and sunblock. If acne is a problem we may elect to put you on some other product, even Retin-A
There are different types of anti-aging products. The anti-oxidants have great benefits for almost any adult skin. Because they tend to be expensive, some products may not be cost-effective in certain cases. Other anti-aging products may contain hormones that are not appropriate for a younger individual.
One of the most powerful and cost-effective anti-aging products is sun-block.
Choosing the right cleansing regimen and exfoliation is an important step, folowed by the right moisturizer.
Diet and hydration are key elements, as well.
The best answer is to be evaluated by a skin care professional who can customiize the selection of the most appropriate anti-aging (or other) care for your skin.
