4 Reasons Why Ask DoctorBase is the Most Efficient Way to SEO and Establish Your Brand Online

  1. Ask DoctorBase is a free service for patients on the DoctorBase platform - currently servicing over 6 million American patients of record.
  2. All answers submitted by healthcare professionals (you) are for entertainment purposes only and do not constitute doctor-patient relationships. All patients must agree to this before using Ask DoctorBase.
  3. Our software and our Marketing Engineering staff review each answer and optimize your answers for keywords valuable to your specialty. It is a well kept secret that doctors (you) - not SEO consultants - are the ones who have the most valuable content prized by search engines. Ask DoctorBase "unlocks and optimizes" your content in the most efficient manner possible with today's technology.
  4. Finally, the doctor who provides the most popular answer - "the Featured Answer," gets an added benefit by allowing patients to write rave reviews about your expertise - reviews that are submitted to both Google and Google Local through our Preferred Data Provider relationship.

Ask Dr. Molly if you have questions or want a personal session on how to best use Ask DoctorBase for maximum marketing impact.

If you're not pregnant, it's a hormonal issue caused by increased weight gain. Of course your doctor can readily help you.
Dear Patient,

There is a fairly generous list of possibilities for this condition. Pregnancy needs to be considered as one of the most common reasons in women of your age group, who are sexually active. Beyond that, one would be best served by seeing a qualified Ob/Gyn for a complete review of one's health and to obtain a complete physical examination. Most treatment options are medical in nature and are very well tolerated.

Best wishes,

the workup for secondary amenorrhea parentheses absent. And parentheses is a simple workup done in the office.

The first thing I recommended that you do a home pregnancy test and if it is - then you can to calling a gynecologist to make an appointment for further evaluation. Obviously, if you are pregnant then contact your obstetrician to initiate prenatal care.

the first thing that the doctor will order is a thyroid test and a prolactin. This is to make sure that your thyroid and pituitary glands are working properly. The next step is to give you a medication called progesterone for one week and then see if bleeding starts on its own. If the tyroid and the prolactin are normal and you start a period on your own then the doctor knows that you are having a problem with ovulation. The initial treatment is birth control pills. Unless you are trying to get pregnant, at that point other medications will be recommended.
