What's the earliest age my daughter can go in for Invisalign treatment?

I saw a commercial for Invisalign Teen, but it didn't say at what age she could get the treatment. She is 11 years old.

When all adult teeth are present with the exception of wisdom teeth. By the age of 11, your Daughter should be screened by an orthodontist first to determine if she's a candidate for Invisalign.
There is no set age for Invisalign Teen. It depends on what teeth are in the mouth. As long as all the adult teeth have erupted into the mouth, Invisalign Teen can be used. Invisalign itself says that the first bicuspids must be erupted in the mouth, but not the second bicuspids and Invisalign Teen can be used. Typically this is sometime between 10 to 12 years old. If your daughter has the necessary teeth erupted into her mouth, she should be able to be treated with Invisalign Teen. Your best bet is to see an orthodontist for a consultation to discuss treatment.
There is no perfect age for Invisalign Teen. As long as the patients have all their permanent teeth and the problem is only dental not skeletal. Therefore, the age is different between individuals.Dr,Sawaf
Jenn, Teen invisalign should be reserved for children that have lost all of their primary teeth. This age is obviously different between individuals. The reason for this is that is extremely difficult to predict both the toot size of unerupted permanent teeth and their eruption time. Teen invisalign works great on dental issues (teeth) without any skeletal issues ( bones ). I have 2 daughters. My oldest's teeth all erupted by age 13 and my youngest by 10 years so you just have to wait for the correct time individually. I hope this helps. Dr.Konys
Invisalign is best suited to someone who has all their permanent teeth completely erupted into the mouth. Some girls at age 11 do have all their permanent teeth. Have you daughter evaluated by an orthodontist so that you can find out what tooth movement and bite correction she needs. Invisalign may or may not meet your daughter's needs.
As long as she has lost all primary teeth and the permanent teeth are all in she MAY be a candidate for Invisalign. I qualify that by saying 1) Only certain kinds of bites can be treated predictably and successfully with Invisalign. Only an orthodontic specialist has the skills and knowledge to make that full determination and provide other options. 2) She needs to be 100% compliant in wearing the aligners for them to work. 3) IF the 12 year molars are already in or at least coming in straight, she may be fine. If they are coming in crocked, braces will work best. I hope that answers your question. Good luck.
