I would certainly consider delaying surgery. Plastic surgery is generally elective. This means there is no urgency.

Safety is always the first, second, and third priority in plastic surgery.

We often envision beautiful results in plastic surgery. However, there is some risk involved. Good plastic surgeons really are always concerned about risk and will advise you that hormone changes may affect clotting. And clotting from surgery can be very dangerous, potentially leading to DVT (deep venous thrombosis) or PE (Pulmonary Embolism).

There are two important risks for you. One: is that you may be pregnant. Two: the high hormone level in the morning after pill may potentially put you at risk of developing DVT (deep venous thrombosis) and pulmonary emboli. The morning after pill is not 100% effective to terminate the pregnancy. Therefore even if you take it you may still be pregnant. The best option is to reschedule your surgery. The brazilian but lift can wait....

The hormones will likely not affect your risks or outcome.

If there is a chance you are pregnant you must delay the surgery. You must consult your OB/GYN and your primary care doctor as well. Taking the morning after pill greatly increases your chance of a deep venous thrombosis which could lead to a fatal pulmonary embolism. Safety is the number one priority in plastic surgery and it should be your priority for your body. Remember, plastic surgery is elective and in the meantime you can do vigorous workouts to enhance the buttock musculature. Best wishes.
No it is not OK. Run it by your surgeon.
Delay your surgery!! The pill can increase your risk of a blood clots which can have devastating consequences. You will also want to confirm that the pill had the result you are looking for (assuming it is being used to terminate a pregnancy). This would be very important information to make your surgeon aware of as soon as possible.
It just depends on the patient.

I would suggest contacting your primary care physician with these concerns.

Save your money. Lift your buttocks with exercise. Up to half of patients are not completely satisfied with this type of surgery. You could increase your risk at after surgery by being pregnant or using a morning after regimen. Delay you surgery if you must go through with

this surgery.
There should be no contraindications to the use of the morning after pill. There should be no adverse affects.
