4 Reasons Why Ask DoctorBase is the Most Efficient Way to SEO and Establish Your Brand Online

  1. Ask DoctorBase is a free service for patients on the DoctorBase platform - currently servicing over 6 million American patients of record.
  2. All answers submitted by healthcare professionals (you) are for entertainment purposes only and do not constitute doctor-patient relationships. All patients must agree to this before using Ask DoctorBase.
  3. Our software and our Marketing Engineering staff review each answer and optimize your answers for keywords valuable to your specialty. It is a well kept secret that doctors (you) - not SEO consultants - are the ones who have the most valuable content prized by search engines. Ask DoctorBase "unlocks and optimizes" your content in the most efficient manner possible with today's technology.
  4. Finally, the doctor who provides the most popular answer - "the Featured Answer," gets an added benefit by allowing patients to write rave reviews about your expertise - reviews that are submitted to both Google and Google Local through our Preferred Data Provider relationship.

Ask Dr. Molly if you have questions or want a personal session on how to best use Ask DoctorBase for maximum marketing impact.

HELLP

My first born was born due to me having HELLP syndrome at day one of 37 weeks. I would like to know what my chance is of having another HELLP syndrome delivery.

Recurrent Hellp Syndrome is rare, approximately 4%. Getting as healthy as you can and reducing or controlling outlying problems such as blood pressure and proper nutrition may better support a pregnancy even if there are no known preventative options. Best of luck!!
Is difficult to get very accurate numbers on the risk of recurrence because it's not common.

The studies show that your risk of getting:

-recurrent HELP is 2-6%

-preeclampsia in next pregnancy: 20% (if you curving have normal blood pressure).

- If you currently have elevated blood pressure, your chance of hair preeclampsia is 75%

There is no evidence that any therapy will prevent this from happening again, although studies are looking into aspirin therapy.

As a rule HELLP is classified as a variation of severe preeclampsia and your risk for developing that is around 25% in subsequent pregnancies. HELLP is much more rare but you are still at increased risk, due to your previous history. The good news is you made it to 37 weeks thus you probably will be fine to term.
