4 Reasons Why Ask DoctorBase is the Most Efficient Way to SEO and Establish Your Brand Online

  1. Ask DoctorBase is a free service for patients on the DoctorBase platform - currently servicing over 6 million American patients of record.
  2. All answers submitted by healthcare professionals (you) are for entertainment purposes only and do not constitute doctor-patient relationships. All patients must agree to this before using Ask DoctorBase.
  3. Our software and our Marketing Engineering staff review each answer and optimize your answers for keywords valuable to your specialty. It is a well kept secret that doctors (you) - not SEO consultants - are the ones who have the most valuable content prized by search engines. Ask DoctorBase "unlocks and optimizes" your content in the most efficient manner possible with today's technology.
  4. Finally, the doctor who provides the most popular answer - "the Featured Answer," gets an added benefit by allowing patients to write rave reviews about your expertise - reviews that are submitted to both Google and Google Local through our Preferred Data Provider relationship.

Ask Dr. Molly if you have questions or want a personal session on how to best use Ask DoctorBase for maximum marketing impact.

Missed period

On my last pill pack, I skipped my placebo pills so that I could skip my period for a concert I was going to. On this month's pill pack, I have gone through all my placebo pills but I still have not gotten my period. Could skipping it last month make me miss it this month? I have also heard that stress can delay your period, and I've been very stressed about moving into college. I'm very worried that I am pregnant now that I have missed my period.

Skipping a placebo pills results in a longer time using the progesterone pretty of the pill which results in a thinner lining. This can get thin enough that there is little lining to bleed.

It's unlikely that you're pregnant but just use a home pregnancy test of you're nervous.

When you are on birth control pills, stress cannot make you miss your period.

If you are on a low dose pill, skipping your period is not rare

The odds of your being pregnant are very very small

Just keep on going and if still concerned, get a blood pregnancy test.

Urine preg tests are reliable only when positive

Doubtful you are pregnant as long as you didn't miss pills. Skipping a cycle could have made you irregular. Take the placebo pills and start the new pack if you didnt miss any but still just do a urine preg test to be safe. Any questions then see your gynecologist
