4 Reasons Why Ask DoctorBase is the Most Efficient Way to SEO and Establish Your Brand Online

  1. Ask DoctorBase is a free service for patients on the DoctorBase platform - currently servicing over 6 million American patients of record.
  2. All answers submitted by healthcare professionals (you) are for entertainment purposes only and do not constitute doctor-patient relationships. All patients must agree to this before using Ask DoctorBase.
  3. Our software and our Marketing Engineering staff review each answer and optimize your answers for keywords valuable to your specialty. It is a well kept secret that doctors (you) - not SEO consultants - are the ones who have the most valuable content prized by search engines. Ask DoctorBase "unlocks and optimizes" your content in the most efficient manner possible with today's technology.
  4. Finally, the doctor who provides the most popular answer - "the Featured Answer," gets an added benefit by allowing patients to write rave reviews about your expertise - reviews that are submitted to both Google and Google Local through our Preferred Data Provider relationship.

Ask Dr. Molly if you have questions or want a personal session on how to best use Ask DoctorBase for maximum marketing impact.

When should I see a neurologist about constant head pain?

The pain is usually on my head above my ears and working back. My head is fuzzy and I have trouble concentrating. I talked to my Primary Care Doctor who just told me to take ibeprofin or excedrin.

Sorry to hear you have these symptoms and suffering. Ideally follow your primary doctor, get fully evaluated including Full Neurological exam and Blood Pressure, laboratory blood and urine test, find if injured, any toxic exposure, hearing impairement, etc; if no improvement in couple of days or if symptoms are worsening, don't keep taking OTC pain pills, and Will need to get an MRI of the brain with and without contrast (Find the cause), See Neurologist and then further tests or treatment specific for the cause will help fix. Hope this is helpful. Wish you the best.
I would say now would be a good time. I would be uncomfortable having you take any medication, OTC or other, without knowing why you're taking it without even knowing what the diagnosis actually is.
You should see a neurologist if your PCP does not take you seriously. Constant head pains associated with dfficulty concentrating, fuzziness as well as focal neurological deficits (weakness , vision loss, loss of consciousness, slurred speech, changes in personality, etc) is always a concern. Also headaches assoc with head trauma, fever, in those with immunocompromised status such as HIV, cancer are red flags

A neurologic visit would be appropriate . Taking a headache diary even helps. You may find certain foods are triggers. Pay attention to Gluten , Wheat ,and diary ( common triggers). Your explanation of pattern of headaches sounds musculoskeletal / tension like. Try a good message therapist. Headaches tend to be complex , so be patient , and guide your doctor. Good luck! If this type of head pain is a new problem for you, and has bothered you for more than a couple of days, consultation with a neurologist would certainly be appropriate. Let your primary care doctor know if your symptoms get worse.
Did the ibuprofen and/or excedrin make any improvement in your head pain?

I would recommend you keep a headache diary (frequency, duration, intensity, aggravating/alleviating factors, associated symptoms like nausea, visual changes, weakness) and schedule a visit with a neurologist or headache specialist.
