By all means, have a physician examine your cheek. If you have a good relationship with a family practitioner, he/she would be a good place to begin. If not, I would consult with an otorhinolaryngologist (ear, nose, and throat surgeon, also referred to as a head and neck surgeon) or a dermatologist. Do not procrastinate, this growth is extremely unlikely to "go away" by itself, and will probably slowly enlarge. Good Luck.
