It is difficult to make a diagnosis without examining you. The "lump" you are referring to may be a lymph node, or a cyst, or a mass that needs excision. I would start by seeing your family doctor and he/she will treat you or refer you as needed.

"WHAT DO WE WANT IN A DOCTOR? I want my doctor to understand me. I want her to be patient with me. I want to not feel judged by her. I want her to create an environment in the exam room that puts me at ease. I want her to be knowledgeable and only refer me to someone else when absolutely necessary.
