Q: What got you into this specific practice of dentistry?
A: I wanted to be a dentist since I was a boy. I always loved going to the dentist and dreamed of becoming a dentist much like our family dentist was. I enjoy the company of people from all walks of life and all ages. Being a family dentist is something that I not only dreamed of always becoming, but it is also a profession that I am deeply proud of and immensely enjoy.

Q: What landed you in your city, and what is it that you like about the neighborhood?
A: With the exception of my years in dental school, I have always lived in Orange County. I was born in Orange and graduated from Villa Park High School and have lived in Orange for the past 25 years. Tustin is a great city to work in as it has a small town feel with big city benefits and a long standing tradition as a family oriented city. We see patients from all of Orange County and beyond, which made Tustin's central location a huge benefit for our patients.

Q: Where did you receive your Undergraduate degree, your Dental degree, and did you participate in a residency?
A: I graduated with honors from U.C. Irvine in 1980. I did my dental training in Washington, D.C., attending Georgetown University, and attaining my D.D.S. in 1984.

Q: What are the most challenging parts of your every day practice?
A: My most challenging parts of every day practice are mostly related to time and balancing the demands of high quality dentistry with the reality that there is only so much that can be done in any given day.

Q: How many years have you been in practice and what are your office hours?
A: I have been in practice for 25 years, all in the same location. Our office hours are Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, 8:30am to 5:00pm, with lunch between 12:30 and 1:30, while Wednesday we work from 8:00am to 3:00pm without a break to help accomodate some patients that want appointments during lunch.

Q: What insurance does your practice accept?
A: We accept most indemnity and PPO plans. It's best to call the office if there is a question.

Q: What investments in your practice equipment and facilities have you made?
A: We are proud to be one of the few dental offices in Orange County that uses Cerec for single appointment dentistry. This technology protects and preserves your own tooth's structural integrity, has perfect looks, perfect comfort, perfect quality, is long-lasting and durable, and unquestionably is the most cost-effective restoration dentistry can offer today.

Q: What procedure do you feel your practice excels in above others?
A: We excel in beautiful tooth-colored restorations for a beautiful, natural smile. We take the time to make sure the final result is something both the patient and the doctor is proud of.

Q: What are the best moments that make it worth it?
A: The best moments are either when a patient leaves our office happy after we have completed treatment, of when a young child gives us a hug for making their time here relaxed and enjoyable.
