I am an acupuncturist and as such not a western doctor, but I do see patients with similar complaints. In light of my background my answer is first, see a cardiologist to evaluate and hopefully rule out heart problems. They may refer you to a neurologist if he is having loss of sensation in his right leg. If EKG and echocardiogram shows his heart is fine, but chest pain continues, then try an acupuncturist.
