"I went to "Doc" for my first root canal. Leary of all the stories and nightmares of this supposedly painful procedure, I went to Dr. Spruill with my concerns.
Dr. Spruill sat down with me and talked at length about my fears and expectations, and in terms I could understand, described his capabilities, the procedure, and what the real expectations should be. After this interview, I not only knew I was in the hands of the right professional, but I walked away with the feeling that he really cared about me as a person, not just as a patient.
To make a long story short, not only was the procedure a success, but I experienced ZERO pain. In fact, I even fell asleep during the procedure. The quality of his work and the personal demeanor he afforded me with every subsequent visit is a quality everyone should seek in a health care professional.
I have visited his office recently, and have seen the investment, both financially and educationally, Dr. Spruill has made in his dentistry practice. It is a welcome feeling to see someone so "into" his profession, that he constantly strives for ways to provide cost effective, state-of-the art, and complete services to his clients.
I would HIGHLY recommend Dr. Spruill to anyone considering any dental procedure or dental maintenance."

The office and clinic areas have plenty of natural light and is always kept meticulously clean. The diagnostic equipment is current. Dr Spruill really helped me get my TMJ pain under control with a custom bite guard that I wear while sleeping or working out. "I have never liked going to the dentist. However, is I need to go, this is the only place I would go. I was cold and received a blanket. My jaw was hurting because of TMJ and Dr. Spruill rubbed it several times when there was a break in the procedure. My comfort was always first and the experience was also professional and everyone very personable.
Having a root canal was not fun but I would never have another one anywhere else.

"Incredible! It was the best dental experience I have ever had. Only the gums by the teeth that needed work on them were numbed instead of the whole jaw. Dr. Spruill used a "rubber dam" that isolated those teeth. (it has been around since the late 1800's) The "dam" kept the debris from getting everywhere and kept my tongue out of the way so he was able to get his work done more quickly. It was amazing. Dr. Spruill was very kind as were all of his staff.....concerned with your welfare. I would highly recommend Dr. Spruill."
