Office Message

At the Skin Cancer Institute we focus on the prevention, diagnosis, treatment and cure of skin cancers of all types in a friendly, caring and professional office environment. We strive to provide the highest quality medical, surgical and aesthetic skin care available to help you look and feel your best. We consider it a privilege to care for each patient and will always make our patients our first priority.

Most home remedies for mole removal simply do not work. Those that might remove the mole are much more likely to cause infection or unsightly scarring. Worse than this, if the lesion removed turned out to be cancer instead of a mole or cancer occurring in a mole , the cells left behind could spread resulting in a worse prognosis.
So, I would like to second the advice given by my colleagues and say that if the mole bothers you enough to want it gone, then you should have it removed by a doctor. In the end, I thnk this will give you the best cosmetic outcome possible and make you the happiest .
