While I would never recommend taking an emory file to the spot, my patient told me last week that he did just that to solve the problem!!! The best solution is to call your dentist. He/she will find time to address the problem and who knows? Maybe there will even be time in the schedule to attend to the solution. If not, orthodontic wax to be found at any pharmacy will provide some comfort short term.
