Q: What got you into this specific medical field?
A: I am a very detail oriented person who loves to work with my hands. I also like patient care. Dentistry has allowed me to fulfill two of my interests.
Throughout April 2011 Spectrum Dentistry participated in Oral, Head & Neck Cancer Awareness Month, in association with The Oral Cancer Foundation. We offered free oral cancer screenings and free full mouth X-rays.
Radiographs, or X-rays, are used in every dental office. They are a great way to see the teeth and bones, and they make sure they are healthy. In the past, X-rays were taken using little pieces of covered film. They were placed in the mouth and exposed using an X-ray machine.
