Every so often, life presents you with an “A-ha!” moment. I had such a moment when I was attending the most recent Parker Seminar. I met a very inspiring man who has an even more inspiring mission in life—his name is Dr. Aaron D. Lewis, and he isn’t a chiropractor, but a pastor and publisher, and he’s written one of the best “lead” books I’ve ever seen about chiropractic, appropriately titled Why I Love Chiropractic. It’s extremely well written, which is to say it’s interesting, compelling, informative, and also touching. In it, he shares a personal story about losing his brother at the age of 37 to medication that never should have been prescribed to him. Lewis believes that if his brother had regularly seen a chiropractor, he would be alive today.
The book doesn’t employ scare tactics, but is instead factual and fair in its approach. Lewis uses several examples of real people who have benefited from chiropractic. Having practiced chiropractic for 32-plus years myself, I can honestly say I wish this book had been available in my early days, because I know it would have helped grow my practice quickly and exponentially.
The greatest benefit, here, is that Aaron Lewis is speaking to the layperson on behalf of all chiropractors with a voice that’s more trusted than that of the chiropractor. He has a genuine, heartfelt desire to reach 1 million new people with the message of chiropractic because he believes people can be helped by it. Why I Love Chiropractic is sure to help him reach that goal.
His message is pure and his passion is real, and he believes that chiropractic will soon become the number-one choice for healthcare in America. He shares the same dream we as chiropractors share, and that’s to help people maintain their health. Lewis made these books available to chiropractors at a discounted rate of 40% for a case of 200 books, and 30% off for 50 and 100 copies so it would be easier to share the books with both new and regular patients.
By the way, when I said the book was well-written, I forgot to add that it’s also short, so it’s not intimidating to any new (or regular) patients. At 80 pages with a small (4 x 6) trim size, it’s not only a fast read, but it fits in people’s purses or coat pockets. It’s a short but powerful book that would be a perfect addition to orientation packets. It can also be used to attract new patients—even the skeptics. Help me to help Dr. Lewis reach 1 million people or more with the message of chiropractic by purchasing a case. You can call Dr. Lewis directly at 860-216-5622, or visit www.whyilovechiropractic.com.
